Happy New Year!!!!

We have had a great winter vacation with family and friends and are now back in Alaska. It was good to be away and have fun and see lots of people but it is also nice to be home, unpack wedding gifts and move into our own place for the first time since we have been married!

Yes, We now have a year lease in a beautiful apartment and we are loving it! It has been amazing to move in and unpack and put things on the walls (still in progress) and just enjoy being the two of us for a little while before we get a little addition in March :)

So to sum up our vacation travels, the tropics were Amazing, going home to see family was full of fun and coming back home was bitter sweet. Here are some pictures from our travels.

Beach Time

Our 1 year anniversary started with swimming with hundreds of Dolphins (sorry there are no pictures in the water just us in front of the spot where we were). Needless to say it was one of the most amazing things I have ever done. LOVED IT!

Then we went to a luau.

Top of the highest point in Hawaii with some of the worlds best and largest telescopes.

We went hiking in an old volcano tube.

Went star gazing and saw amazing star constellations.
Jupiter was the best, seeing its red stripes.

Brian and I had to wear our arctic coats in the truck cuz it was so cold outside that our truck wouldn't get warm inside. Tons of fun for 4 days :)

For Christmas Brian and I got a harness for Hotei and Brian taught him to pull me. It was fun.
